MLK

What's the big deal about MLK? Martin Luther King Jr. was very much indeed a big deal. So much that one can easily recognize the time period and what he stood for by just hearing his name. Someone as small as a 1st or 2nd grader. MLK was far more than a leader, more than just a man who 'had a dream.' He was an inspiration, a hero, a brilliant man, brave, strong, a man who stated and stood for his beliefs for what he felt strongly about. Not only for himself but for his race, for other races, for our country, for the world. I find it quite difficult to put all my thoughts about him and his actions. He's a hard to understand why he did what he did. Or how someone could obtain that much strength and courage. Then i just have to ask myself did he ask himself the same question? I'm sure he did and I'm sure he was scared at some point, but that's what made him so powerful. He got his a lot of his power from his decision to put his fear behind. Tell himself that his actions might take his life, but all in all and the end conclusion would be for the better. His actions would be for the greater good. MLK put all his fear, and second guesses behind me and stood up with non-violent actions even when others prevailed with violence. Martin Luther King Jr. was a man that represented a symbol. A symbol of peace, power, and courage. A symbol that has lived for years and will continue to live on for decades.

You need to reread for grammar, but overall good summary. I like how you said to put fears behind a person, how powerful that is.
